Most of the low-cost airlines will get you to either Alicante, Murcia or Almeria airports. The ones we’ve used most have been Monarch from Birmingham and Ryanair from East Midlands.
What you pay, comes down to when you want to go and how far you are prepared to drive. The nearest airport to the house is Almeria to the south, and from there it is only a fifty-minute drive.
Murcia and Alicante are both further north and are about two-hours away. This can vary by up to an hour, depending on what time of day you land (For first-time Spanish drivers and navigators, this is a very safe add-on!).
