Spring on the Gran Via

Not so much a reflection of life in Barcelona, but more of an exhuberent 'joy of spring' type thing, I took this photo this morning as I was having breakfast. After a very damp week of rain, the trees are now glorious and BCN has taken on a whole new aspect.

I'll post some more shots of the blosson and the trees in a photo album, but Linda and Sarah were given these marigolds last week in the street as part of the festival of spring and they just looked so perfect in the sun.

I've just had a very busy week of work visits and so feels good to have a couple of days in the sun. Next week Linda is back in the UK and then the following week we are off to Bedar for some family downtime.
